News: The Buzz on the Best Books
During the month of April, Lincoln students were asked to vote for their favorite book. Many votes were cast, counted, and recounted. After votes were tallied, the top eight books are:

"Lincoln students have checked out more library books than students at any other high school in our district. From September to May 12 our students checked out 7,200 books. That's 1,400 more than the next highest check out rate," stated school librarian Mrs. Denton.
The following list includes many childhood favorites, so don't be too surprised to see The Cat in the Hat. Books that received at least one vote are:
