News: School Library Month at Lincoln
L
et's Vote! Lincoln will be celebrating School Library Month in April. School Library Month is a celebration of your library and librarians. Being the 25th year of this celebration, the 2010 theme is "Communities Thrive @ your Library."
April 16 is known as Teen Read Day, and all students are encouraged to pick up a book and read it front to back. If you like the book, then vote for it. Lincoln will open up a poll so that students will be able to cast their vote for their favorite book. Votes will be counted the last day of April, and the top ten books will be posted on VoicesOfLincoln.com. The entire list will be published and posted in the library. If you would like to vote, all you have to do is visit the library and you will recieve a voting slip. It only takes a minute or two of your time. Show support for reading and cast your vote.
The voting box was created by a senior at Lincoln.
